I’m back online and have just gotten addicted to Facebook (thanks Jen!
). It’s wicked, it’s allowed me to catch up with old school friends, Uni mates and generally anyone I’ve ever known. It’s been nice to get back in touch with so many people that I was either too lazy to get in contact with at the time or who I lost contact with through moving to Torquay and then going to Uni in Wales. It’s also meant that I will be having a busy time when I get back home, I have lots of people to go and visit and I hope to get to see as many people as possible.
Having been on Facebook means I’ve eschewed my responsibilities here. But I’m trying to rectify that with this and many more posts before I head back home.
To update you on my current situation, I have two new flatmates, one Kiwi called Owen and an American called Blair. Both are really sound, easygoing, clean and most importantly, Whiskey drinkers. We now have 3 bottles of whiskey sat in the kitchen along with about 20 bottles of coke.
Work is starting to wind down, the floods of tears coming from the students has resided for now. I only have 23 days left at Nova, something that I’m kind of looking forward to and similarly dreading at the same time. I know my final day will be difficult but I should have lots of pressies (I hope!).
The next few weeks have been planned, I now have dates for climbing Mt Fuji, Osaka, Nikko and various other events. This of course means lots of new pictures to be posted online and to Facebook. I will start getting pictures of where I work and the people I teach to give you an idea of what it’s like out here. All I can say is stay tuned!
mata ne!
