This is my personal blog, to keep family and friends and generally anyone who stumbles across it informed about what I’m doing in Japan.
Who be?
My name is Damien and I`m from the UK, I`ve just finished Uni this year and have decided to eschew working in the real world in favour of coming to Japan and selling my ability as a native English speaker.
What do?
I work for one of the largest (maybe it is the largest) English school in Japan. I`m an instructor in Yabashira (八柱) in a small branch with 3 other instructors. I teach conversational English to students and generally try to avoid talking about grammar.
Where live?
I’m based in Kita-Kogane (北小金) which is a suburb of Matsudo-shi (松戸 市). Matsudo is about 23Kms from central Tokyo to the North East.
When go?
I left Heathrow Airport on the 5th of September 2006, and began working on the 11th of September.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy reading what I have to say, leave me comments and give me feedback.
